THINGS TO DO Activities abound at Lookout Point Camp, ranging from high-energy to relaxing, and of course, everything in between. Cast a line off the dock, hike one of the many trails with camera in hand or feel the sand under your feet as you hoist one of our volleyballs. Pick some berries while taking a leisurely stroll, drift into slumber while the cozy campfire blazes around you or take delight in a tempting shore lunch with all the fixings. Whatever your choice may be, we are here to make your wishes come true.
Whether your family is in tow, or it's a week away with the boys, boredom is a word that is never used in our neck of the woods. Our clean sandy beach will invite you for a relaxing rest at every glance you give it, while the refreshing water of the lake is always available for a quick dip or a relaxing paddle. Although there are plenty of activities to do around camp, those looking to spread their wings can enjoy a leisurely drive, with shopping, golfing, horseback riding, eateries and a zoo, all found within an hour from our home. For those looking for adventure, logging roads are abundant throughout our area, offering the cyclist or ATV enthusiast miles of trails that are ripe for exploring. Many of these paths lead to back lakes or rapids, allowing photographic opportunities that will amaze and delight you. Wildlife is abundant in our natural setting, with many of our guests lucky enough to spot moose, bald eagles, osprey, beaver and otter. (Make sure to bring binoculars and extra rolls of film.)
Once evening rolls around, enjoy a tasty BBQ dinner at the fire pit on the beach, or cook up a storm in the privacy of your own cabin. Once the dishes have been cleared, relax around the campfire, roasting marshmallows to your heart's content, while the sun slowly sets on another day. This is what vacation living is all about...
